He might be the Thomas Basford, son of Richard and Martha Basford, who was baptized 8 Sep 1706 in Christ Church Parish, VA. [3] There was an Ann Basford who married Joseph Pace on 18 Apr 1721in Christ Church Parish. [4] Perhaps she was a sister? ( [5] and [6] show Ann as being a daughter of Richard.)
Will dated 5 Nov 1765; proved 7 Jan 1767, mentions wife Rachel, son Thomas, grandson Frederick Bassford, youngest son Steven, grandson John son of Thomas Basford, daughter Margaret Fowler, daughter Milcah Linthicum, granddaughter Rebecca Iiams, daughter Mary Morgan and daughter Elizabeth Iiams. [2]
