She was living with the family of her supposed sister Abigail in Chester, NH at the time of the 1850 census, which would add circumstantial evidence to support this contention. [406] However, she was not assigned a guardian along with the other minor children in 1842, [436] and she was not included in a list of John Wesley Basford’s siblings in the 11 Dec 1850 documents pertaining to his estate. [437] This would suggest that she is probably not a daughter of Josiah and Betsey.
